Connect Meetly Dictate to AI Agents
Meetly Dictate exposes your transcripts through a secure MCP (Model Context Protocol) endpoint. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible AI tools can read your notes and answer questions about them — without your audio or raw files ever leaving your device.
What is the Meetly MCP?
The Meetly MCP is a lightweight cloud relay that gives AI agents read access to your transcripts. Transcripts are encrypted end-to-end on your iPhone before sync — the relay server only ever stores ciphertext and is unable to read your content.
You control access through pairing tokens generated in the iOS app. Each token can be scoped to specific folders and revoked at any time. No token, no access — it is that simple.

Privacy model
AES-256-GCM encryption
Every blob is encrypted with a key derived from your device master key before upload.
Zero-knowledge relay
The server holds only ciphertext and device public keys. Meetly cannot read your transcripts.
Per-folder opt-in
Choose which folders sync. Everything else stays purely on-device.

How to connect
First, generate a pairing token in the iOS app: open Settings → Connected Agents → New Token. Then follow the steps for your AI tool below.
Connect via ChatGPT
- 1Open ChatGPT and go to Settings → Apps & Connectors.
- 2Scroll to Developer Mode and toggle it On.
- 3Tap Create and paste the MCP URL:

- 5Done. Ask ChatGPT about your recordings — e.g., “Summarize my notes from yesterday”.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my data stored?
Your transcripts are encrypted on-device with AES-256-GCM before upload. Only ciphertext reaches Meetly servers — the server holds encrypted blobs and device public keys, never plaintext.
Who can read my synced transcripts?
Only devices that hold your master key and any AI agent you have given a valid pairing token to. The Meetly server cannot decrypt your data.
How do I revoke an agent's access?
Open the iOS app → Settings → Connected Agents → tap the agent and choose Revoke. The token is invalidated immediately and the agent loses access within seconds.
Does it work offline?
Dictation and transcription are fully on-device and work without internet. Cloud sync (and therefore MCP access) requires a connection when the AI agent queries the server.
Is this free?
The MCP connector is included with Meetly Dictate at no additional charge during the beta period. Future pricing will be announced in-app.
